Safe Harbor Principles
Clinical Consulting Services (CCS) complies with the U.S.-EU Safe Harbor Framework and the U.S.-Swiss Safe Harbor Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information from European Union member countries and Switzerland. CCS has certified that it adheres to the Safe Harbor Privacy Principles of notice, choice, onward transfer, security, data integrity, access, and enforcement. The Information We Collect
When you visit the Sites you may provide us with two types of information: (i) information regarding your use of the Sites collected by us as you interact with the Sites and (ii) information you submit voluntarily via the Sites.
When you enter the Sites, we may also collect your browser type, IP address, your operating system (e.g., Windows 2000), the domain name of your internet service provider (e.g., Comcast), the date and time of your visit, the pages viewed, the time spent at our Site, and the websites visited just before and just after our Site. In addition, we store certain information from your browser using "cookies." A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. We may use session ID cookies to confirm that users are logged in. Any and all of this information may be associated with your personal information.
Through the use of certain functionality of the Sites, you may provide us with your name, company affiliation, email address, telephone number, physical address, and other information that may be required for you to use such functionality. Length of Time Information is Held
CCS retains personal information we collect at our Sites and via the electronic communications technologies we use for a minimum period of five years unless requested by you, a contract or regulatory body to be removed or further retained for a longer specified period of time.
CCS does not knowingly collect or solicit information from anyone under the age of 18 and no one under age 18 is permitted to provide any information to CCS. If you are under 18, please do not attempt to send any information about you to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address.
Use of Information Obtained by CCS
CCS may use aggregate data (based partly on IP addresses but not containing personal information) collected through the Sites to analyze Site usage and system performance. This data may be used by CCS and shared with third parties in any manner.
In the Event a Sale, Merger, Bankruptcy, or Transfer of Business
The Sale or Renting of Personal Information
CCS will not sell or rent any personally identifiable information to a third party.
Note to Healthcare Professionals and Business Partners
If you have a business or professional relationship with CCS, we may use your personal information, including personal information we may collect about you from other sources, to develop our business relationship with you and your organization.
Note: We do not share any of your personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes unless you explicitly give us permission to do so.
Credit Card Information
CCS does not collect or store credit card information of any type or nature.
CLINICAL CONSULTING SERVICES LLC AND ITS subsidiaries’ and AFFILIATES' sites are designed to educate and to inform users. Our sites do not provide medical services or specific medical advice. They should not be used in place of services provided by health care professionals, nor should they be used to delay seeking the services of health care professionals. CCS cannot be held responsible for any actions taken based on the information provided on our sites, nor for any indirect or direct consequences of those actions.
Personal information may be disclosed to judicial or other government agencies subject to warrants, subpoenas, or other governmental orders.
CCS takes commercially reasonable precautions to protect Users' Non-Public Information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction.
Any questions or concerns regarding the use or disclosure of Personal Information should be directed to CCS through the contact information given below. CCS will investigate and attempt to resolve complaints and disputes regarding use and disclosure of Personal Information in accordance with the principles contained in this Policy. For complaints involving Personal Information other than human resources data that cannot be resolved, such disputes will be referred to the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR) / American Arbitration Association (AAA).
For internal complaints by individuals involving human resources data that cannot be resolved between CCS and an employee after following the internal review, complaint, and appeal procedures, CCS will participate in the dispute resolution procedures of the applicable national data protection authority and Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner to resolve disputes as applicable.
